So, I’m a little late to the game, but I have to say it: I LOVED The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. I’m maybe the last person in the world to read it — or at least the last person in the University of Baltimore MFA community — and I’m not ashamed to admit it. why do we do the things we do?…

So, I’ve been working on a project for more than a year now, mostly in my head. It’s a trio of book dolls based on poems I’ve written which are based on characters in the Günter Grass novel The Tin Drum. (Pretty meta for poem-y book arts, right?)
